Mine EvaluationEconomic appraisals have been carried out of operating and potential base metal, uranium, industrial mineral, oil shale, coal, nickel, gold, tin-tungsten and rutile-zircon mines, applying underground, open pit and alluvial mining methods. Feasibility StudiesDetailed feasibility studies have been completed of a large scale rutile-zircon mine (2000 tonnes per hour), a high-grade zinc mine (100,000 tonnes size per annum), large scale open pit and underground coal, uranium and copper mines (10,000 tonnes per day), very large scale open pit oil shale operations (500,000 tonnes per day), and reprocessing of base metal slags. Metallurgical InvestigationsMetallurgical investigations and preliminary process design for gold projects and for complex uranium-molybdenum-fluorite and gold-copper ores have been supervised, and processing methods for operating coal, copper-gold, tin-tungsten and beach sand projects have been reviewed. On site bulk test programmes have been completed for oil shale, gold and tin-tungsten projects. Small scale smelting of base metal concentrates and slags have been investigated. Commodity studies have been carried out for potential sales from uranium, fluorite, rutile-zircon, base metal operations, and for coal exports. Mine PlanningDetailed planning has been carried out for open pit and underground base metal, gold, coal, uranium and tin mines, and very large scale oil shale open pit operations. Detailed investigations have been completed into the effects of coal mining beneath major surface facilities. Mine and Project ManagementManagement of base metal and gold mining operations and mine development and construction has been carried out, and the supervision of earth-moving operations for open pit and alluvial mines. Management organisation for medium size underground coal mining operations and for the development of large scale uranium operations have been completed. Management of exploration development and bulk sampling operations has been carried out. Personal RecruitmentPersonnel for exploration and mining projects in Australia, New Zealand, Saudi Arabia, Central America and South East Asia have been selected. Expert ServicesPreparation of independent expert reports for information memorandum and prospectus purposes and audit valuations, accepted by Australian, New Zealand, London, Hong Kong and Vancouver Stock Exchanges and Securities Commissions, NASDAQ (USA) and the Ontario Securities Commission.
